Current Openings
1. The New Brunswick Public School District is currently seeking a Director of Pupil Personnel Services and one or two Supervisors of Special Services. These positions will be available as of July 1, 2010. For more information please consult their website at nbps.k12.nj.us.
2. The Northern Valley Regional School District is in need of an Interim Director of Special Services, effective July 1, 2010. Appropriate certifications would be required for this Preschool through 12th grade program. Preference is for someone with knowledge of appropriate programming for students with autism. It would be 3-4 days per week, with the possible option of it becoming full-time. 3. Immediate Vacancy - Interim Director of Special Education needed for the Trenton School District. The Interim Director will serve in this capacity until July 1, 2010 when a new Director will assume this position. Consultant Services will also continue through the summer and the opening of the new school year in September. CPC Highpoint School operates two award-winning special education schools designed to meet the unique needs of emotionally disturbed and multiply disabled students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities (E/BD). They are currently seeking an Executive Director who will maintain overall responsibility for the supervision of staff and programs for the schools. The Elementary and Adolescent Schools are located on a beautiful 23-acre private campus in Morganville, New Jersey. The Schools serve a diverse population of students from approximately 70 different school districts in six counties of New Jersey, with the majority from Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex Counties. Candidates for this position will require a minimum of a Master of Education degree in a related field with at least five years post graduate experience. A minimum of three years of senior administrative experience with special education populations is required.
