Legislative Committee

The New Jersey Association of Pupil Services Administrators ( NJAPSA ) is the only statewide professional organization for administrators responsible for special services and has over 200 members throughout the state of New Jersey . Due to our direct, daily involvement with students with disabilities, their families, as well as regular and special educators, NJAPSA provides a unique perspective regarding issues important to special education directors.

The NJAPSA Legislative Committee functions as a conduit to provide members with information on issues affecting the quality of your professional lives and the public education system. The committee analyzes and participates in deliberations concerning proposed legislation, special education code provisions and policy affecting public schools and school leaders.

The NJAPSA Legislative Committee continually strives to provide input from Directors to State leaders while keeping our members abreast of legislative issues. Our Legislative Committee enables our members to maintain a strong and consistent presence within New Jersey.
